Rite Foods Limited has won two honours at the 2026 Marketing Edge Awards held in Lagos on Friday, September 25.

The company’s Managing Director, Seleem Adegunwa, was named Outstanding FMCG Brand Entrepreneur of the Year, while Rite Foods received the Outstanding FMCG Corporate Brand of the Year award.

The awards were presented at a ceremony organised by Marketing Edge and attended by professionals, business executives and stakeholders in the marketing, advertising and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.

Adegunwa attributed the recognition to the company’s employees and its continued focus on innovation, quality and value creation.

He said the awards reflected Rite Foods’ contribution to the FMCG sector through product development, brand building and consumer engagement.

The company’s Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Ekuma Eze, said the corporate award reflected Rite Foods’ commitment to producing quality products that respond to changing consumer preferences.

Eze said the company’s focus extends to research and development, consumer-focused innovation, environmental sustainability, technology and value creation.

“These recognitions reinforce our belief that sustainable brand leadership is built through consistent investment in quality, innovation and the consumer,” Eze said.

Rite Foods recently expanded its beverage portfolio with the launch of LIDA Malt. Its portfolio also includes Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Premium Drinking Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink and several sausage products.

The company was also recognised at the 2026 National Sustainability Achievements Awards for its contributions to sustainable manufacturing, product innovation, environmental stewardship and responsible corporate leadership.

The latest awards follow Adegunwa’s Industrialist of the Year 2025 honour by Vanguard Media Limited, which recognised his leadership and contribution to Nigeria’s FMCG sector.
