Rite Foods Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s economic and social development as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
The company said the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s resilience and the efforts of individuals, businesses and communities contributing to the country’s development.
Rite Foods said its commitment is reflected in its focus on local production, innovation and community engagement, as well as its portfolio of consumer brands.
Its brands include Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, Fearless Energy Drink, Sosa Fruit Drinks and sausage rolls such as Rite Spicy Beef, Bigi Beef and Bigi Flex. The company has also added LIDA Malt to its portfolio.
Speaking on the anniversary, Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Rite Foods Limited, Ekuma Eze, said the company remained proud of its Nigerian heritage and committed to contributing to the country’s growth.
“Independence Day reminds us of where we have come from, the resilience that has brought us this far, and the responsibility we all share in shaping Nigeria’s future,” Eze said.
He added that Rite Foods would continue to create value, support communities and contribute to initiatives that promote opportunities for Nigerians.
The company said its activities also extend to talent development, entertainment, sports, education and community development.
Rite Foods operates a production facility in Ososa, Ogun State, where it manufactures products for consumers across Nigeria.
As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence, the company said it would continue to support local production and contribute to the country’s development.
