JMG Limited has called for sustained investment in infrastructure, energy systems and technical capacity as Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
The company made the call in a statement commemorating the anniversary, saying stronger infrastructure would be important to the country’s economic growth and development.
JMG also urged greater collaboration among government, businesses, professionals and citizens in developing, maintaining and protecting infrastructure that supports economic activities.
The company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said Nigeria’s ability to translate its economic potential into sustainable growth would depend partly on the quality, reliability and efficiency of infrastructure serving businesses, industries and communities.
“Independence gives us the freedom to determine the kind of country we want to build. That freedom also comes with the responsibility to invest in the infrastructure, skills and technologies that can transform Nigeria’s potential into lasting progress,” Jammal said.
He said reliable electricity and supporting infrastructure remained important to industrial productivity, business expansion, job creation and quality of life.
Jammal added that rising demand for reliable and efficient energy presented opportunities to deploy technologies aimed at improving energy security, operational efficiency and sustainability.
He said JMG had supported businesses and institutions in Nigeria with engineering solutions spanning power generation, electrical infrastructure, vertical transportation, cooling systems, compressed air technologies and renewable energy.
“For nearly three decades, JMG has remained committed to providing practical engineering solutions that support businesses and institutions across Nigeria,” he said.
“As Nigeria looks ahead, we remain committed to playing our part in building the infrastructure, technical capacity and energy systems required to support a more productive and sustainable future.”
JMG congratulated Nigerians on the Independence Anniversary and said it would continue to contribute to infrastructure and engineering development in the country.
