Ecobank Nigeria, in partnership with Qatar Airways, has honoured outstanding participants at the second edition of Oja Oge by Ecobank, a three-day fashion, beauty, and lifestyle fair held in Lagos. The event brought together innovative local entrepreneurs and provided a vibrant platform for brand exposure, sales growth, and business networking.

The grand finale of the fair featured an awards ceremony celebrating top-performing vendors:

Goodness and Mercy Hair emerged as the overall winner, receiving a Qatar Airways Business Class ticket to any destination worldwide for recording the highest gross sales by value.

Clandini was awarded a Qatar Airways Economy Class ticket for securing the second-highest gross sales.

Accessories by Morgan earned a ₦750,000 cash prize for generating the highest number of transactions during the event.

Speaking during the ceremony, Omoboye Odu, Head of SME Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, praised the creativity and product excellence demonstrated by the exhibitors. She also thanked Qatar Airways and other partners for supporting the bank’s flagship retail showcase.

“This fair reflects Ecobank’s unwavering commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs,” Odu said. “It gave vendors a remarkable opportunity to display their products, attract new clientele, form strategic partnerships, and tap into broader markets.”

She emphasized that the initiative also aims to enhance interaction between emerging Nigerian brands and both domestic and international consumers, supporting the growth of the SME sector.

Award recipients expressed deep appreciation for the recognition and the platform. A representative of Accessories by Morgan highlighted the significance of such initiatives in boosting visibility and driving business growth for small and medium-scale enterprises.
