Emirates Launches Wildlife-Themed Amenity Kits for Premium Economy and Economy Passengers
Emirates will roll out a new range of complimentary amenity kits for Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers on long-haul flights starting December, featuring sustainable materials and highlighting endangered species.
The kits, designed in partnership with United for Wildlife, incorporate bio-based materials including cactus and celebrate wildlife across four natural environments: sea, sky, forest, and desert. For the first time, Premium Economy kits will include plant-powered skincare products from Aveda, alongside travel essentials such as soft socks, eyeshades, earplugs, and a Colgate dental kit. Economy kits will also include comfort items and dental care products.
Each kit features hand-drawn illustrations of endangered animals, accompanied by story cards that educate passengers about species at risk, including Bengal tigers, African grey parrots, Bornean orangutans, Cape vultures, Green sea turtles, and pangolins, among others. Kits are available on overnight flights of longer duration, with Premium Economy bags featuring a wrist strap for convenience.
The initiative aligns with Emirates’ broader sustainability goals under the Emirates Environmental Sustainability Framework and its zero-tolerance policy toward illegal wildlife trade. The airline has implemented bans on transporting hunting trophies and continues to participate in the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce.
Passengers can also learn more about wildlife protection efforts through Emirates’ inflight entertainment system, ICE, which features the series Guardians, showcasing the work of wildlife rangers and conservationists supported by HRH Prince William and The Royal Foundation.
The launch reinforces Emirates’ commitment to sustainability while giving passengers a unique, educational, and collectible travel experience that highlights the importance of protecting the planet’s most vulnerable species.
