the Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, conducted an extensive operational patrol along the FCT–Nasarawa–Kogi boundaries to strengthen security in border and adjoining communities.
During the patrol, CP Dantawaye paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Ona of Abaji, His Royal Majesty (Dr.) Adamu Baba Yunusa, CON, reaffirming the Command’s commitment to collaborating with traditional institutions to support community-based security initiatives.
The Commissioner also visited Narati Tsofo, Narati Sabo, Chijisabo, Chiji, Abate, and Achido communities in Nasarawa State and other nearby areas that have recently experienced security challenges. On the ground, he assessed current security deployments, issued operational directives, and reinforced police presence in vulnerable locations.
CP Dantawaye highlighted that the patrol is part of his operational strategy to personally monitor deployments and security operations, with a focus on boundary and flashpoint areas prone to criminal activity.
