Group Chairman of First HoldCo Plc, Olufemi Otedola, has expanded his stake in the financial services group with the acquisition of additional shares worth over ₦2 billion.
According to a disclosure filed with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on Thursday, Otedola purchased 39,313,379 units valued at ₦1.21 billion at ₦31 per share in a transaction executed in Lagos on September 23, 2025.
In addition, Calvados Global Services Limited, a company linked to Otedola, acquired 25,565,289 ordinary shares worth ₦792.5 million under the same transaction code.
The company’s second-quarter financials, released on July 30, showed Otedola previously held a direct stake of 3,212,032,866 units (7.67%) and an indirect stake of 3,465,560,297 units (8.28%).
With the latest acquisitions, his direct shareholding has risen to 3,251,346,245 units (7.77%), while his indirect holdings now stand at 3,491,125,586 units (8.34%).
