In a bid to enhance revenue collection in Anambra State, Fidelity Bank Plc has donated 10 units of tax booths to the Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AIRS).

Dr. Nosa Orumwense, Regional Bank Head in Awka, emphasized that the donation reflects the bank’s commitment to providing innovative solutions for its customers. “For nearly four decades, Fidelity Bank has focused on addressing the banking needs of Nigerians through tailored solutions. This initiative is designed to improve the tax payment and collection experience for individuals and the Anambra State government,” he stated.

The booths, dubbed “Fidelity Bank AIRS Small-Tax Hubs,” are customized, secure, and user-friendly self-service terminals aimed at streamlining banking transactions. Equipped with both mains and solar power sources for uninterrupted operation, they also connect to the internet for real-time transaction processing.

During the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Greg Ezeilo, FCA, Chairman of AIRS, expressed appreciation for the donation, calling it “a dream come true.” He commended Fidelity Bank for its pioneering support and assured that the hubs would be utilized effectively.
