Fidelity Bank Plc has partnered with MONAT to sponsor the 2026 Young Innovators Camp, a free educational programme designed to equip children with practical skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The camp, which begins on July 20, 2026, will provide children aged 4 to 10 with hands-on learning experiences focused on creativity, innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving.
Participants will be introduced to age-appropriate STEM concepts through guided building sessions, interactive learning activities and small-group engagements with facilitators. The programme will also include financial literacy classes, creative exercises and confidence-building activities.
Speaking on the initiative, Fidelity Bank’s Divisional Head of Brand and Communications, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, said the programme reflects the bank’s commitment to preparing young Nigerians for the future.
“The future will be shaped by those who can solve problems, think creatively and harness technology to improve lives. Through the Young Innovators Camp, we are giving children the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a fun, practical and engaging way,” he said.
Nwagboh added that the bank views STEM education as a strategic investment in Nigeria’s future, noting that today’s young learners could become tomorrow’s engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and technology leaders.
He said the partnership with MONAT aligns with Fidelity Bank’s mission of helping people grow, thrive and prosper while supporting youth empowerment, education and skills development.
The initiative builds on the bank’s existing education-focused interventions, including the SWEETA programme and other corporate social responsibility projects aimed at expanding learning opportunities for children and young people.
Each participant will receive an educational gift pack containing STEM learning materials to encourage continued learning beyond the camp.
Participation in the programme is free, and parents and guardians have been invited to register children between the ages of 4 and 10 for the camp.
