First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank) has announced the launch of the Verve Flash Promo, a nationwide campaign offering free Verve debit cards to customers whose ATM cards have expired. The initiative, which began on October 6, 2025, and runs until January 30, 2026, will reward 131 customers daily on a first-come, first-served basis across all FirstBank branches.
The campaign reflects FirstBank’s commitment to enhancing convenience, accessibility, and customer satisfaction while celebrating its 131-year legacy of trust and innovation in Nigeria’s financial sector.
Speaking on the initiative, Chuma Ezirim, Group Executive for e-Business and Retail Products at FirstBank, said: “The Verve Flash Promo is not just about rewarding customers with free debit cards; it celebrates our legacy of resilience and innovation. Our partnership with Verve International demonstrates our shared vision of deepening financial inclusion and delivering secure, seamless payment experiences for our customers.”
Verve International’s Managing Director, Vincent Ogbunude, also highlighted the collaboration’s impact on expanding access to cashless payment solutions. “The Verve Flash Promo not only rewards loyal customers but reinforces our mission to make everyday transactions more rewarding, secure, and convenient,” he said. “As we extend the Good Life Promo, we remain focused on driving financial inclusion and delivering real value to Verve cardholders nationwide.”
In addition, the ongoing Verve Good Life Promo—designed to reward Verve debit card users for transactions at select merchant outlets—has been extended to November 30, 2025. Cardholders can enjoy 10% cashback every Thursday to Sunday at The Place Restaurant, Quickteller, Buypower, Filmhouse, AliExpress, Addide Supermarkets, and the Chowdeck app.
Customers also receive 10% cashback on Google Play Store purchases any day of the week, while every transaction made using a Verve card on ATMs, POS terminals, or online platforms qualifies for a chance to win up to ₦1 million.
