Good Hope FM’s Warrior Woman Awards will be held in partnership with the WomenIN Festival 2025, in what is billed as Cape Town’s biggest celebration of women to date. The two-day event is scheduled for November 13–14 at Newlands Cricket Ground.
The Warrior Woman Awards, created by Good Hope FM’s The Morning Show team—Leigh-Anne Williams, Sandra Rosenberg and Delucia Daniels—honours South African women who have made significant impact across sectors. This year’s awards feature 10 categories, including Leadership, Media & Communications, Social Impact, STEM, Business, Arts & Entertainment, Education, Healthcare, Young Achiever and Unsung Shero.
The awards will headline the closing of the WomenIN Festival, which runs under the theme “LIMITLESS. No Labels. No Limits. No Apologies.” The festival will bring together more than 60 speakers from over 17 industries, focusing on leadership, wellness, entrepreneurship, collaboration and empowerment.
Programme Highlights
- Day 1: “Unapologetically Her” – spotlighting women redefining leadership and embracing their brilliance, featuring prominent voices such as Bridgette Motsepe-Radebe, President Zingiswa Losi and Thando Hopa. Sessions will explore topics ranging from financial literacy and entrepreneurship to wellness, creativity and goal setting.
- Day 2: “Unstoppable Us” – celebrating solidarity and collaboration, with sessions on mentorship, motherhood, women in football, AI and empowerment, GBV prevention and self-defence. The day will culminate in the official Warrior Woman Awards ceremony.
Good Hope FM and 5FM Business Manager Masi Mdingane said the collaboration enhances the awards’ vision:
