Governor Fintiri Donates ₦50M,Speedboats for Borno Flood Relief

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has donated ₦50 million and six speedboats to support victims of the recent flooding in Borno State. The donation was presented to Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum during a visit to Maiduguri, as confirmed in a statement by Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

Expressing his sympathy over the loss of lives and property, Governor Fintiri appealed for additional support for the affected communities and urged the federal government to take swift action to address the crisis.

Fintiri, along with Governors Zulum and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, took a boat ride to assess the damage caused by the flood and offer support to displaced residents. The flooding in Maiduguri resulted from a broken spillway at the Alau Dam.

Governor Fintiri was accompanied by Secretary to the State Government Awwal Tukur, members of the State Executive Council, and other dignitaries during the visit.
