Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) has announced the 8th edition of its highly anticipated GTCO Food and Drink Festival, scheduled to take place from Friday, May 2 to Sunday, May 4, 2025, at GTCentre, Plot 1 Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This year’s festival is themed “A Shared Experience,” emphasizing the power of food to tell stories of culture, tradition, and community. The three-day event will feature 204 free retail stalls, offering a vibrant showcase of culinary creativity—from traditional Nigerian dishes and regional specialties to fusion cuisines, beverages, and gourmet desserts.

Attendees will also benefit from a series of masterclasses led by internationally acclaimed chefs and culinary experts, who will share recipes, techniques, and insights across a wide range of food disciplines.

In addition to the exhibition and classes, the festival will include a bustling street food arena and a dedicated children’s play zone, making it a family-friendly celebration of food and culture.

Speaking on the event, Group Chief Executive Officer of GTCO Plc, Mr. Segun Agbaje, said the festival celebrates the continent’s cultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit. “Every shared meal reflects our traditions and the universal language of food. More than a celebration, the festival underscores our commitment to supporting local enterprises, offering food entrepreneurs a free platform to grow and connect with consumers,” he stated.

The festival aligns with GTCO’s broader vision of Promoting Enterprise, particularly among indigenous foodpreneurs, and forms part of its ongoing efforts to create meaningful customer experiences and support small business sustainability.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to join what promises to be an exciting showcase of food, culture, and community.
