According to the media in Belgium, a glimmer of hope that Anderlecht could achieve a major transfer coup has appeared as regards signing Taiwo Awoniyi from Premier League club Liverpool.
Reports said Awoniyi already appears to be favourably disposed to the transfer as he just followed Anderlecht manager Vincent Kompany on Instagram.
Some fans suggest that this could well be a sign that negotiations are going well between the two clubs.
The Liverpool Echo has already reported that Anderlecht have submitted a five Million Euros bid for the striker, who has previously played on loan at Belgian clubs Mouscron and KAA Gent.
However, Liverpool may be asking for far more.
