JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, announced this in a statement on Tuesday, noting that candidates who participated in the exercise can now access their results through approved result-checking platforms.
According to him, the release of the mop-up results marks the completion of the examination process, allowing the Board to proceed with the next phase of admissions, including candidate ranking.
“With the successful conduct of the mop-up exercise and the publication of the results, the Board will proceed with the ranking of candidates,” Benjamin said.
He added that printing of result slips required for admission processing will commence before the end of the week.
The Board expressed appreciation to candidates, parents, and other stakeholders for their cooperation throughout the examination period.
The mop-up examination was held on June 13, 2026, to accommodate candidates who were verified but could not sit for the main UTME due to technical issues, biometric challenges, or other disruptions at examination centres.
The 2026 UTME was conducted in April, with over two million candidates participating nationwide. JAMB has since released the main results, maintained the minimum admission cut-off marks at 150 for universities and 100 for polytechnics, and opened its portal for candidates seeking changes of course or institution.
