JMG Limited has completed three major engineering projects across Nigeria’s healthcare, manufacturing and aviation sectors during the second quarter of 2026, reinforcing its commitment to improving operational efficiency and sustainability for businesses.
The projects, executed through the company’s renewable energy, climate solutions and elevator divisions, underscore JMG’s focus on delivering innovative engineering solutions that reduce costs, enhance performance and support long-term growth.
Among the flagship projects, JMG Solar designed and installed a hybrid solar power system at St. Catherine Specialist Hospital in Wuse 2, Abuja, to provide uninterrupted electricity for critical medical services while reducing dependence on diesel generators.
According to the company, the installation has cut the hospital’s diesel consumption by 50 per cent, from about 2,000 litres to 1,000 litres monthly, resulting in diesel savings of approximately ₦14 million within four months. Monthly energy costs have also dropped by about ₦2 million. The solar system is projected to generate more than 133 megawatt-hours of clean electricity annually and prevent over 53,000 kilograms of carbon emissions each year.
JMG Clima, the company’s climate solutions division and the authorised dealer of Trane in Nigeria, also upgraded the cooling infrastructure at the corporate facility of one of Nigeria’s leading snacking companies. The project involved the deployment of a high-efficiency Trane HVAC system designed to improve cooling performance, indoor air quality, operational reliability and maintenance efficiency.
In the aviation sector, JMG Elevator completed the installation and maintenance support of 16 TK Elevator units at Victor Attah International Airport in Akwa Ibom State. The project included 12 elevators and four escalators to improve passenger movement, accessibility and operational efficiency across the airport terminal.
Following the successful completion of the installation, the client approved the addition of three more TK Elevator units, increasing the total number of installations at the airport to 19.
