JMG Industrial has completed the installation of advanced KAESER air compressor technology at the Gboko facility of Dangote Cement in Benue State, enhancing operational efficiency and production reliability.
The project followed a detailed system audit and airflow analysis, leading to the deployment of eight high-performance Kaeser rotary lobe blower units designed for continuous heavy-duty industrial use.
According to the company, the upgraded compressed air system delivered a 23 per cent increase in airflow efficiency, with peak capacity improvements of up to 47 per cent compared to the previous configuration. The improvements are expected to boost production stability, optimise energy consumption, and strengthen overall plant performance.
JMG Limited, the authorised dealer of Kaeser Compressors in Nigeria, executed the project through its industrial division, providing installation, system optimisation, and after-sales support.
An engineer at the Gboko plant, Natu David, said the new system has significantly improved airflow stability across production lines, noting measurable gains in efficiency and reliability. He also commended JMG Industrial’s engineering execution from system evaluation through commissioning.
Compressed air systems remain critical to large-scale manufacturing, particularly in cement production, where efficiency and reliability are key to output. Industry stakeholders note that rising demand for energy-efficient solutions continues to drive the need for advanced compressor technologies and experienced technical partners.
