JMG Limited has announced plans to host an Engineering Sustainability and Solar Adoption Walk as part of efforts to promote renewable energy and sustainable engineering practices in Nigeria.
The initiative, scheduled to commence from the company’s head office in Lagos, will bring together engineers, industry stakeholders, and sustainability advocates to raise awareness on the importance of solar energy and cleaner power solutions.
According to the company, the walk is designed to encourage a shift toward more sustainable energy sources while highlighting the role of engineering innovation in driving Nigeria’s energy transition.
Speaking ahead of the event, Rabi Jammal, Chief Commercial Officer of JMG Limited, said the initiative underscores the urgency of adopting solar energy as a viable solution for the future. He noted that the choices made today in energy consumption and infrastructure development will significantly shape long-term sustainability outcomes.
JMG stated that the initiative reinforces its commitment to advancing engineering excellence while supporting the adoption of renewable energy solutions across industries and communities.
The company, which provides integrated solutions in power generation, electrical systems, vertical transportation, cooling, and compressed air systems, said it remains focused on contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
