JMG Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading integrated electromechanical solutions providers, is celebrating its 28th anniversary, marking nearly three decades of growth, innovation and industry leadership.
Founded in June 1998 as a power generator solutions company, JMG has evolved into a diversified engineering firm offering services across power generation, electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, elevators and escalators, compressed air solutions and renewable energy technologies.
The company said its expansion reflects a commitment to meeting the changing needs of businesses and industries across Nigeria through reliable and sustainable engineering solutions.
Speaking on the milestone, Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, described the anniversary as a testament to the company’s resilience, innovation and the trust of its customers and partners.
“Twenty-eight years ago, JMG was founded with a mission to provide dependable power solutions. Today, we have grown into a comprehensive electromechanical solutions provider, delivering technologies that help businesses operate efficiently, sustainably and competitively,” Jammal said.
He added that the company remains committed to driving innovation and supporting Nigeria’s industrial and economic development.
A major aspect of JMG’s growth strategy has been its increasing investment in sustainable energy solutions. The company recently deployed solar hybrid power systems at three NIPCO fuel stations located in Gwagwalada, Lekki and Mpape, providing uninterrupted clean energy through integrated solar arrays, lithium battery storage and smart inverter technology.
According to the company, the installations have eliminated reliance on diesel generators while delivering significant energy cost savings and supporting Nigeria’s transition to cleaner energy sources.
In the healthcare sector, JMG delivered a comprehensive electrical power infrastructure solution for the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja. The project provides reliable and scalable electricity to support critical medical equipment, operating theatres and other essential healthcare services.
The company also showcased its expertise in vertical transportation through the installation of advanced elevators and escalators at the J.K. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos. The project was designed to improve accessibility and mobility for visitors, including the elderly and persons with disabilities.
Beyond its engineering operations, JMG said community development remains a key component of its corporate philosophy. The company has supported healthcare delivery through interventions at Primary Healthcare Centres in Ketu and Bariga and has also extended assistance to orphanage homes through the provision of essential supplies and welfare support.
