JMG has successfully delivered a fully integrated engineering upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket in Kano, combining power generation, HVAC, and electrical infrastructure into a single coordinated project. The installation underscores JMG’s status as a leading provider of generators, HVAC systems, and electrical engineering solutions in Nigeria.
The supermarket sought a partner capable of addressing power reliability, cooling requirements, and electrical safety simultaneously. JMG’s turnkey approach allowed Quick Buy to engage a single contractor for end-to-end solutions, ensuring operational continuity, efficiency, and long-term stability.
The upgrade features a synchronized power generation system installed by JMG POWER, comprising two FG Wilson 550kVA generators and one FG Wilson P330kVA unit integrated with the grid. The configuration now delivers uninterrupted, stable energy to support 24/7 supermarket operations, including lighting, cooling, point-of-sale systems, and essential equipment.
JMG CLIMA, the company’s HVAC division, implemented a comprehensive climate control solution using Trane rooftop units, ducted systems, VRF technology, standing units, cassette units, and 14 inverter split air conditioners. The system also includes zoning controls and extractor-integrated ducting, ensuring consistent temperature distribution and energy-efficient cooling throughout the facility.
JMG ELECTRA completed the project with a modernized electrical installation, enhancing safety, load stability, and reliability. The upgraded electrical backbone supports both the power and cooling systems while accommodating future expansion.
