José Mourinho Set for Return as Real Madrid Manager

José Mourinho is set for a sensational return to Real Madrid after reportedly reaching a verbal agreement to take over as manager, according to multiple reports.

The Portuguese coach, known as “The Special One,” is understood to have agreed terms on an initial two-year deal, pending the signing of formal documents.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on X that Mourinho is expected to travel to Madrid after Real Madrid’s final La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, where final formalities will be completed ahead of an official announcement.

If confirmed, the move would mark Mourinho’s second spell in charge of the Spanish giants, more than a decade after his first tenure from 2010 to 2013, during which he won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.

While the club has yet to make an official statement, anticipation is growing among supporters over a potential return of one of football’s most high-profile managers.

Real Madrid are expected to confirm the development in the coming days once contractual procedures are concluded.
