Joshua Oluwayemi: It’s honour to get Eagles invitation

Tottenham Hotspurs young goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi was delighted to get his maiden call up to the Super Eagles friendly match against Mexico which was played in the early hours of today in Los Angeles, United States of America.
The shot-stopper was handed a late invitation to the squad after captain Ikechukwu Ezenwa pulled out of the game, due to injury.
Born in England to Nigerian parents Oluwayemi has represented his country of birth, England at the junior.
Reacting to his invitation to the three-time African champions Oluwayemi said:  “It’s an honour to get called to my national team @NGSuperEagles.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper who is Tottenham Hotspurs U-23 first choice goalkeeper is the third goalie in the Super Eagles squad after John Noble and Stanley Nwabali.
