KWAM 1 Mourns Ex-Wife, Alhaja Hafsat, at 65

Renowned Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), is grieving the loss of his former wife, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 65 following an undisclosed illness.

Alhaja Hafsat was the mother of Idayat Anifowoshe, a Special Assistant on Special Duties to Dr. Mayor Muibi Folawiyo, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Authority (LIELCDA).

Her funeral was held in accordance with Islamic rites, with her remains interred at Abari Cemetery in Lagos.

In a statement, Olushoga Olushola, Chief Press Secretary to the LIELCDA chairman, extended heartfelt condolences to Idayat on behalf of his principal.

“It deeply hurts to lose a loving mother and dependable partner,” the statement read. “We wish we could find the words to comfort you at this moment. Take solace in the legacy your mother left behind through her good service to God and humanity.”

The statement further described Alhaja Hafsat as an affectionate mother and an exemplary woman, admired by all who knew her.

Her passing has left a significant void in the lives of her family, friends, and community.
