The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his sustained efforts to rebuild Nigeria’s economy, while accusing opposition parties of attempting to undermine national progress for political advantage.
In a statement issued on Saturday by its Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo, the party said President Tinubu’s recent remarks at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting underscored his confidence and decisive leadership amid ongoing economic reforms.
During the FEC meeting earlier in the week, President Tinubu declared that “Nigeria is rising, and no amount of opposition bitterness can change it.” According to the Lagos APC, this assertion reflects the president’s unwavering commitment to steering the nation toward recovery despite sustained criticism and misinformation.
Oladejo described Tinubu’s comments as “a masterclass in clarity, confidence, and leadership grounded in verifiable results, not emotional blackmail or political hysteria.”
He added that the president has remained focused on rebuilding Nigeria “brick by brick,” implementing bold policy reforms that are beginning to yield tangible results across key sectors of the economy.
