Lotus Bank has announced its sponsorship of the Nigerian Medical Students Association (NIMSA) Games, emphasizing its commitment to youth development, health, and sportsmanship across Nigeria.
The NIMSA Games, which began on Saturday, features student registration and will gather medical students from various institutions nationwide. The event aims to promote friendly competition while highlighting teamwork and physical wellness.
Mrs. Kafilat Araoye, Managing Director of Lotus Bank, stated, “Encouraging a healthy lifestyle among our future healthcare professionals is essential. Sports not only enhance physical fitness but also cultivate vital skills such as collaboration and leadership.” She also reflected on the bank’s recent sponsorship of the Federation of African Student Universities Games, which provided a platform for students from across the continent to unite and celebrate their diverse cultures.
Additionally, Lotus Bank recently concluded the Abeokuta Marathon, which attracted participants from both local and international backgrounds and focused on promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.
