Preparations for the 2025 Annual National Conference of the Finance and Business Online Publishers (FiBOP) Association have gained momentum, with leading organisations pledging support for the event.
In a statement, the organisers announced partnerships with Zenith Bank Plc, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Polaris Bank, emPLE Insurance, Tangerine Insurance Company, and other key players in the economy.
Themed “Achieving $1 Trillion Economy: Leveraging Technology, Innovations, Tax Reforms, and Opportunities in Renewable Energy, Agriculture, and Financial Services”, the conference will hold on October 18–19, 2025, at the Orchid Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
Sponsors and partners will have the opportunity to engage directly with FiBOP members, financial service consumers, and business professionals, while also boosting brand visibility, generating high-quality leads, and enjoying extensive media exposure across local and international platforms.
FiBOP President, Charles Onwuatogwu, said the forum aims to chart the most effective path to attaining a $1 trillion economy by 2030, in line with the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Conference Planning/Awards Committee Chairman, Godson Ikoro, added that discussions will focus on diversifying operations, embracing innovation, and expanding investment in renewable energy, insurance, agriculture, and other sectors.
Special guests expected include the Ministers of Finance, Environment, and Agriculture and Food Security; heads of the CBN, FIRS, NCC, SEC, NAICOM; and CEOs from fintech, renewable energy, and other industries.
