The NNPC Engineering and Technical Company Limited (NETCO), a wholly owned business unit of NNPC Limited, has been inducted into the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Executive Council.
To mark the development, NETCO Managing Director, Engr. Salahudeen Tahir, led a delegation from PMI and NETCO to present the certificate of induction to NNPC Limited’s Executive Vice President, Upstream, Udy Ntia, in Abuja.
The induction reflects NETCO’s commitment to strengthening its project management capabilities, adopting global best practices and promoting knowledge sharing within the profession.
The PMI Global Executive Council is a membership-based leadership forum for leading organisations and government institutions.
Through its membership, NETCO is expected to gain access to global project management networks and strategic opportunities to strengthen internal project leadership, enhance governance and advance digital infrastructure transformation.
The development marks a step in NETCO’s efforts to build its project management capacity and improve its ability to deliver complex engineering projects.
