NNPC Retail Limited (NRL) has hosted She-Fix 2025, a flagship event aimed at empowering women in the automotive, technical, and energy sectors, in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
The event, held in Lagos, brought together over 300 participants as part of the global celebration themed “Driving Diversity and Powering Progress.” According to a statement by NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye, the programme featured hands-on activities, interactive discussions, and technical demonstrations, highlighting women’s contributions in traditionally male-dominated field
Managing Director of NNPC Retail, Huub Stokman, underscored the initiative’s significance, stating, “She-Fix 2025 is more than just an event; it reflects our commitment to recognizing and elevating women’s voices and contributions across industries.”Speaking on behalf of the Executive Vice President, Downstream, Cyprian Onwuegbu, Senior Business Adviser, reaffirmed NNPC’s commitment to gender inclusivity. “NNPC remains dedicated to fostering diversity, equality, and inclusion. She-Fix symbolizes our continuous efforts to create an equitable and progressive workplace for women,” he said.
Participants engaged in Car Care 101 sessions, live car diagnostics, and a marketplace promoting female-led businesses. The event also featured special discounts on Oleum Lubricants and LPG NR-GAS, reinforcing NNPC Retail’s commitment to supporting women in the energy sector.
