The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Bayo Ojulari, hosted top executives from Sahara Group at the NNPC Towers in Abuja on Thursday to explore strategic collaboration focused on advancing energy access and sustainability.
The Sahara Group delegation, led by Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, Kola Adesina, Tope Shonubi, and Wale Ajibade, visited as part of continued engagements with key industry stakeholders in Nigeria’s energy sector.
Discussions spanned oil and gas operations, data management, and infrastructure development, with both parties emphasising transparency, innovation, and partnerships as critical drivers of a sustainable energy future.
Ojulari reaffirmed NNPCL’s commitment to becoming a global energy powerhouse, stressing the role of collaborative efforts in transforming Nigeria’s energy ecosystem.
In their remarks, the Sahara Group executives underscored the company’s mission to support the nation’s energy transition. They also reiterated Sahara’s strong regional footprint across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, where it is known for its clean and safe energy initiatives.
Sahara Group operates across the full energy value chain, including upstream, midstream, downstream, power, and technology sectors, with a core focus on sustainability and energy accessibility.
