Oluwo of Iwoland Donates Bus to Telu Football Club

The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr.) AbdulRosheed Adewale Akanbi, has donated a bus to Telu Football Club, a grassroots football academy based in Iwo, Osun State.

During the official handover ceremony, His Imperial Majesty presented the vehicle keys to the management and staff of Telu Football Academy, reaffirming his commitment to youth development and sports promotion in the community.

The monarch, who serves as the Grand Patron of the club, praised the club’s promoter, Engr. Taoheed Alamu, for his dedication and commitment to nurturing young football talents in Iwo.

Oba Akanbi has been a strong supporter of the club’s initiatives, sponsoring various developmental projects, including the annual Telu Cup competition aimed at discovering and promoting local talent.

The donation of the bus is expected to ease the team’s logistics and enhance participation in regional tournaments, further strengthening the club’s mission to develop grassroots football in Iwoland.
