Polaris Bank has clinched the title of ‘Digital Bank of the Year’ for the fourth consecutive year at the prestigious Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards, underscoring its leadership in Nigeria’s digital banking sector.
In a statement released on Sunday, Polaris Bank noted that the recognition highlighted its digital dominance, driven by the VULTe digital banking platform. In addition to this achievement, the bank was awarded ‘Best Bank for MSMEs of the Year’ for the third consecutive year, underscoring its strong support for small and medium-sized enterprises through competitive lending and strategic backing of the real sector.
Commenting on the awards, Polaris Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Kayode Lawal, emphasized that the consistent recognition of VULTe as the leading digital bank reflects the platform’s user-friendly interface and versatile functionality. Lawal also shared that Polaris Bank had witnessed significant growth in digital transactions and lending, with digital loans exceeding N10 billion within the first eight months of the year, positioning it to surpass the N12.8 billion milestone set in 2023.
He further highlighted that Polaris Bank’s focus on seamless user experience, coupled with continuous investment in cutting-edge technology, ensured secure and convenient online transactions for customers. “We are honoured to receive this prestigious award, affirming our commitment to the digital banking ecosystem. This consecutive vote of confidence motivates us to stay at the forefront of technology and service excellence,” Lawal said.
