Radisson Hotel Group has announced major strides in its global expansion, securing over 210 hotel openings and signings in 2025 as part of its transformation into one of the world’s leading hospitality brands. The Group’s rapid growth reflects its focus on serving the evolving needs of modern travelers while advancing sustainability and innovation in hospitality.
Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer, said the Group’s performance this year underscores its pursuit of excellence. “Hotel openings have been carefully curated to meet what business and leisure travelers are seeking in 2025, and we have a very strong pipeline of signings and anticipated launches,” Younes stated.
Across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Radisson Blu continues to lead the upper-upscale market with landmark developments in France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro. Notable projects include The Medlock at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and the soon-to-open Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel in Paris.
France remains a strategic growth hub, led by Radisson Collection, with milestone openings such as Cour des Loges Lyon and the upcoming Banke Opera Paris, set for 2026. The brand also marked its debut in Hungary with the Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest and celebrated the grand reopening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin.
Radisson RED is gaining strong momentum globally, with new properties across the UK, Romania, India, UAE, and Thailand. The brand’s sustainable credentials were highlighted by the launch of Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, a Verified Net Zero Hotel. New openings in London and Rome further reflect RED’s expansion into vibrant urban centers.
Meanwhile, Radisson Individuals has surpassed 100 hotels in operation and development, expanding across Europe and Asia and introducing new sub-brands — Premier, Boutique, and Retreats — to offer flexibility and differentiation for owners and guests.
The flagship Radisson brand continues to evolve, entering new markets including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Armenia, and Saudi Arabia. It also achieved a sustainability milestone with Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, the Group’s first Verified Net Zero hotel, and will anchor an all-electric stadium development for Oxford United Football Club in the UK.
Radisson’s resort portfolio has grown to over 160 properties worldwide, featuring standout destinations such as Radisson Hotel Cannes, Radisson Collection Resort, Galle in Sri Lanka, and Radisson Collection Resort & Spa, Jaipur in India.
In the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, growth remains strong, with 130 new hotels signed and opened in China this year alone. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson has become the fastest-growing mid-scale brand in the country, now boasting 375 hotels.
India continues to be one of the Group’s fastest-growing markets, surpassing 200 hotels with plans to reach 500 by 2030. With 59 new signings in 18 months and expansion into 47 new cities, Radisson has solidified its status as India’s leading international hotel operator.
In Africa, the Group has expanded into new territories, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, and Zimbabwe, while deepening its presence in Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria. The Group aims to achieve 30 hotels in Morocco and 25 in South Africa by 2030.
