The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Business Forum, THIQAH, actively participated in the 29th World Investment Conference (WIC) and the 8th Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF), held from October 22 to 23, 2025.
Jointly organized by the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), the Sharjah FDI Office, and the UAE Ministry of Investment, the twin events brought together global leaders, CEOs, ministers, and investment promotion agencies (IPAs) from over 100 countries under the theme “Transforming Our World: Investing for a Resilient and Sustainable Future.”
During the conference, THIQAH played a central role in promoting investment facilitation and partnership-building across IsDB member countries. Its delegation engaged in a series of meetings with IPAs and investment bodies, exploring co-investment opportunities, strengthening collaborations, and positioning THIQAH as a key global platform linking international investors with strategic projects across IsDB economies.
THIQAH also participated in high-level panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, where it shared insights on policy innovation, emerging investment trends, and best practices for sustainable development.
The Forum’s presence featured a dedicated exhibition booth highlighting IsDB Group’s initiatives, investment facilitation programs, and private sector engagement opportunities. Key outcomes included heightened visibility for THIQAH as a leading enabler of sustainable investment, the identification of new partnerships and investment leads, and reinforced collaboration with regional and international IPAs.
Through its active engagement and thought leadership, THIQAH reaffirmed its commitment to driving responsible, inclusive, and resilient investment across IsDB member countries — advancing the global “Decade of Promoting Investment for Good” and laying the groundwork for continued engagement at future platforms such as the Private Sector Forum (PSF) 2026.
