Rev. Oshoffa Secures Fresh Legal Victory at UK Court

By Ayomide Otitoju

His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ (C.C.C.) Worldwide and the C.C.C. UK Diocese, has recorded another legal victory following a ruling by the Bromley County Court in the United Kingdom.

The judgment, delivered on Thursday, January 29, 2026, comes less than 48 hours after Rev. Oshoffa emerged victorious in a separate case filed against him by Banjo and others at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

At the Bromley County Court, the claimant, represented by Venerable Superior Evangelist (VSE) Bayo King, had challenged a pastoral directive transferring him from his role as Shepherd of the C.C.C. Harton Street Parish, London. Following his refusal to comply with the directive, the claimant instituted legal action alleging trespass and harassment, and sought an injunction against the C.C.C. UK Diocese acting on behalf of the Pastor.

Other defendants named in the suit included Most Superior Evangelist Amos Fatusin, Venerable Superior Evangelist Taiwo John, Venerable Superior Evangelist Gbolahan Oshin, and Venerable Superior Evangelist Seyi Akomolafe.

Presiding judge, Richard Watson, struck out the case in its entirety, with no order as to costs awarded to either party.

The ruling is widely regarded as a clear affirmation of the authority of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, to exercise pastoral and administrative control over the Celestial Church of Christ, Harton Street Parish, London, in line with his position as the global spiritual head of the church.
