Rite Foods Limited has felicitated Muslim faithful across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
The Nigerian food and beverage company urged Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the values of peace, unity, tolerance and love for one another.
Speaking on the celebration, the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Seleem Adegunwa, called on Muslims to uphold exemplary conduct and promote peaceful coexistence while reflecting on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
Adegunwa also urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the growth and development of the country.
“As a company that shares in the joy of our consumers, we stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they mark this important moment in their faith,” he said, adding that the company hoped the celebration would bring renewed unity and progress to Nigerians.
The Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Rite Foods, Ekuma Eze, said the company was pleased to celebrate important occasions with its consumers.
Eze encouraged Muslim faithful to mark the celebration with the company’s range of food and beverage products.
Rite Foods’ portfolio includes Bigi Carbonated Soft Drink, Bigi Premium Drinking Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, and its range of Rite Spicy Beef, Bigi Beef and Bigi Flex Sausages.
The company said its products are manufactured using automated infrastructure and technology.
Rite Foods has also received industry recognition for its sustainability and innovation initiatives, including awards at the Edge Awards, Sustainability, Innovation and Social Impact (SISA) Awards and SERAS Awards.
