Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his condolences to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, following the passing of his wife, Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi.

In a heartfelt message shared on his Facebook page on Monday, Sanwo-Olu mourned the deceased and prayed for strength for the bereaved family.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi on the passing of his beloved wife, Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time,” the governor wrote.

He described the late Mrs. Ojelabi as a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness touched many lives. “While this is a difficult loss, I encourage you to take heart. She was a nurturing mother and will be deeply missed. May God bless her soul and grant you comfort,” he added.

Meanwhile, in a separate development, a document has surfaced confirming that businesswoman Aisha Achimugu is under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), countering claims from her associates that she is not being probed. Reports indicate that Achimugu fled Nigeria after failing to honor an EFCC invitation, while her aides have been actively denying the investigation in the media.
