Swedish police confirmed on Friday that a man in his 20s was fatally shot in a car park in Norrköping. Media outlets identified the victim as rapper Gaboro, whose music has garnered millions of streams on Spotify and who reportedly had ties to criminal gangs.
A video allegedly recorded by the shooter, seemingly using a body-worn camera, shows an individual firing multiple shots in the car park. Police stated they are aware of the footage and have incorporated it into their investigation.
The victim was found critically injured on Thursday morning and later pronounced dead in the hospital.
This incident underscores the growing wave of gang violence in Sweden, where police are grappling with escalating shootings and bombings linked to turf wars and the illicit drug trade. Public safety concerns have risen as many of these attacks occur in broad daylight, sometimes claiming the lives of innocent bystanders.

Sweden has witnessed a sharp increase in gun violence in recent years. In 2023 alone, 53 people were killed in 363 shootings, with several incidents occurring in public spaces and endangering innocent lives.
