Zenith Bank Plc has officially unveiled its iconic annual Christmas decorations along Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout in Victoria Island, Lagos, marking the start of the festive season.
The grand Light-Up ceremony, held on Saturday, was launched by the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, Adaora Umeoji. This initiative, now in its 18th year, has transformed the stretch of Ajose Adeogun Street—home to Zenith Bank’s corporate headquarters—into a dazzling yuletide wonderland. The elaborate decorations have become a landmark attraction, drawing families, friends, and tourists from across the globe who come to soak in the magical ambience.
Speaking during the event, Umeoji highlighted the significance of the initiative as part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). “Over the years, Zenith Bank has hosted this spectacular event, transforming the entire Ajose Adeogun Street into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland. Our beautiful and elaborate Christmas decorations have become a centre of attraction and are shared on social media platforms globally,” she said.
She further emphasized the essence of Christmas, urging attendees to embrace the spirit of love, kindness, generosity, and respect for humanity. Umeoji also expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Government for fostering an enabling environment for the initiative and commended Quantum Markets, the creative team behind the decorations, for their consistent innovation and excellence.
“I want to thank the management of Quantum Markets for all the beautiful, creative, and innovative ideas they keep coming up with. Quantum Markets always make it bigger and better every year, and we are always looking forward to it,” she added.
