Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated billionaire industrialist and Chairman of Eleganza Group, Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya, on his 85th birthday.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Chief Okoya for his consistent contributions to the economy and the well-being of many Nigerians, particularly in Lagos State where his businesses thrive.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I join family, friends, and business associates to celebrate Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya on his 85th birthday,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.
“Chief Okoya, the Aare of Lagos, has been instrumental in the growth of Nigeria’s economy, providing jobs and expanding his investments into other African markets. His philanthropic efforts, including scholarships and support for small businesses, have impacted many lives positively.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu wished Chief Okoya continued health, strength, and prosperity as he celebrates this milestone.
