The fusion of music and fine whisky took centre stage at The Macallan Lounge, Kaly Restaurant, Lagos, during the official launch of Adekunle Gold’s Coco Money music video. The curated evening blended style, sound, and storytelling, drawing a star-studded guest list that included Falz, Shoday, Yhemolee, Asherkine, Tomike Adeoye, Enioluwa, Shankcomics, TobeSZN, Veeiye, SwitOpe, Moni Osibodu, and Peller.
Guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere of The Macallan cocktails, gourmet canapés, and dynamic DJ sets, with Big Bimi hosting the night’s proceedings. Hammed Adebiyi, Senior Brand Manager for Nigeria & West and Central Africa, Edrington Portfolio, described the collaboration as “a fusion of two worlds — music and whisky — both built on craftsmanship, heritage, culture, and innovation.”
Each attendee left with an exclusive goody bag, including a bespoke The Macallan whisky glass.
Coco Money, produced by Niphkeys and directed by Nouvelle Films, showcases themes of luxury and self-confidence, featuring a cameo of The Macallan 18 Years Old Sherry Oak Cask. The track was first previewed at a private dinner in April 2025, co-hosted by Adekunle Gold and The Macallan.
