The Lagos State Education District I team delivered an impressive outing at the 19th Head of Service (HOS) Cup Final, securing second place in a display marked by determination, teamwork and competitive spirit. The event was held recently at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos.
Dr. Oyetola Olufunke Idowu, Tutor General/Permanent Secretary of Education District I, commended the athletes for their outstanding performance, noting that the team had made the district proud and fully deserved the recognition.
She expressed appreciation to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, for sustaining the tournament, describing it as an initiative that reinforces Lagos State’s reputation for excellence.
The final featured a variety of sporting activities and unfolded in an atmosphere of excitement and sportsmanship. Distinguished guests at the event included the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and the Head of Service, Mr. Agoro, among others.
