SPE Leadership Visits NNPC Group CEO in Abuja

The leadership of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Nigeria Council (SPE), led by Council Chairman Engr. Francis Nwaochei, FNSE, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd, at NNPC Towers in Abuja. The delegation was joined by Dr. Riverson Oppong, Africa Regional Director of SPE International.

The visit centered on discussions about collaboration to advance technology, strengthen industry dialogue, and support the growth of Nigeria’s energy sector.

Ojulari reaffirmed NNPC Ltd’s commitment to actively engage with SPE initiatives and explore joint efforts to boost production, including providing technical support in subsurface disciplines to achieve the target of 3 million barrels per day.

He also interacted with young professionals in attendance, encouraging them to remain committed to learning and take active roles in shaping the future of Nigeria’s energy industry.
