Family, friends, and well-wishers on Tuesday gathered in solemn reflection to commemorate the third anniversary of the death of Adijat Kubura Iyawo Anobi, remembered as a devoted mother and pillar of strength.
In a tribute released to mark the occasion, the family said her impact continues to resonate deeply three years after her passing.
“It has been three years since her voice last filled our home and her laughter warmed our hearts. Yet, not a single day has passed without her crossing our minds,” the statement read.
She was described as more than a mother—“a sanctuary, first love, and bravest warrior”—whose legacy endures through the lives she touched and the memories she left behind.
Fuji music star Wasiu Alabi Pasuma also paid tribute via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, underscoring her influence beyond her immediate family.
Relatives said they have found comfort in the continued outpouring of love, noting that while the pain of her absence has eased, the loss remains profound.
They prayed for her eternal rest in Jannah, expressing hope that her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire future generations.
Adijat Kubura Iyawo Anobi is fondly remembered as “loved, missed, and never forgotten,” with her memory enduring in the hearts of those she left behind.
