The President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has been inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering.
Dangote was conferred with the Distinguished Honorary Fellowship during an induction ceremony held in Victoria Island, Lagos, where he received the honour from the President of the academy, Rahamon Bello.
The event was attended by members of his family, including his daughters, as well as senior executives of the Dangote Group.
In his remarks, Dangote pledged to support the advancement of engineering practice and contribute to the growth of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering.
