MTN Nigeria has officially launched the 2026 edition of Y’ello Care, its annual flagship employee volunteer programme, with a commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved communities across the country.
The opening ceremony, held at the company’s Rooftop Plaza in Lagos on June 3, brought together employees, management, and partners to mark the commencement of the initiative. This year’s edition has been extended from the traditional 21 days to 25 days in celebration of MTN Nigeria’s 25th anniversary.
The 2026 campaign is themed “Equitable Health for Every Community” and focuses on addressing persistent healthcare access challenges in Nigeria, including geographical barriers, high costs, and inadequate infrastructure.
As part of the launch, divisional representatives, known as Y’ello Care Champions, were formally introduced and outlined plans to implement interventions aimed at tackling healthcare challenges in their respective communities.
Over the 25-day campaign period, MTN volunteers, in partnership with the LiveWell Initiative, will deploy mobile clinics, telemedicine services, and digital health education programmes across six targeted communities nationwide. The company said the initiative is designed to create lasting impact beyond the duration of the campaign.
MTN Nigeria encouraged stakeholders and members of the public to follow the progress of the Y’ello Care campaign through its official communication channels and support efforts aimed at ensuring quality healthcare is accessible to all communities.
According to the company, every contribution and show of support helps advance the goal of achieving equitable healthcare for every community.
