Rite Foods Wins Best Food, Beverage Brand Award 2026

By Ayomide Otitoju

Rite Foods Limited has won the Best Foods and Beverage Brand, Nigeria 2026 award at the Global Brand Awards held in Dubai on October 2.

The award, organised by UK-based Global Brands Magazine, recognises brands for excellence in innovation, product quality, market performance, brand development and consumer engagement.

The recognition highlights Rite Foods’ investments in product development, manufacturing and consumer-focused initiatives in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

The company’s product portfolio includes 13 variants of Bigi carbonated soft drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink in five flavours, Fearless Energy Drink in Classic and Red Berry variants, Rite Spicy Sausage Roll, Bigi Beef Sausage Roll, Bigi Flex Sausage Roll and the recently launched LIDA Malt.

Rite Foods said the products are manufactured at its fully automated facility, equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure.

The latest award follows the recognition of the company’s Managing Director, Seleem Adegunwa, who was named Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s FMCG sector.

Commenting on the recognitions, Adegunwa said they reflected the company’s commitment to developing Nigerian brands capable of competing internationally.

“These recognitions reflect our firm commitment to innovation, quality and consumer satisfaction. At Rite Foods, we have remained intentional about creating products that connect with consumers while continuously raising the bar in manufacturing excellence, brand experience and market relevance,” he said.

He attributed the achievements to the efforts of the company’s employees, partners and consumers, adding that Nigerian businesses could compete effectively in an increasingly competitive marketplace by prioritising innovation, excellence and long-term value creation.

Over the years, Rite Foods has introduced products and consumer engagement initiatives across different market segments. Its Bigi brand has established a presence in Nigeria’s carbonated soft drinks market, while Fearless Energy Drink introduced packaged energy drinks in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles to the Nigerian market, according to the company.

Beyond its products, the company supports youth empowerment, community development, entertainment partnerships and sports development through various initiatives.

Rite Foods said it would continue to focus on product innovation, manufacturing standards and consumer experience as it seeks to expand its market presence and strengthen the competitiveness of Nigerian-made brands.
