Airtel Nigeria Promotes 91, Backs Talent Growth

By Ayomide Otitoju

Airtel Nigeria has announced the promotion of 91 employees across various departments, highlighting its commitment to talent development, inclusivity, and employee well-being.

The promotions, unveiled last week, are part of the company’s broader strategy to reward excellence and foster career growth within its workforce.

Commenting on the development, Airtel Nigeria CEO Dinesh Balsingh said, “At Airtel Nigeria, we believe people are our greatest asset. Recognizing performance is not just a gesture—it’s a principle. Our vision is to build a culture where growth is encouraged, and every team member feels empowered to excel.”

In line with this vision, the company has launched a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing professional counseling services and a helpline to support employees and their families during challenging times.

Airtel is also advancing gender diversity, with women now making up 26.7% of its workforce. Through platforms like the Airtel Women Network, the company aims to reach a 30% female representation benchmark by fostering leadership among women.

Director of Human Resources and Administration, Adebimpe Ayo-Elias, emphasized the company’s holistic approach to human capital: “We’re creating a culture where everyone feels supported—not just professionally, but emotionally and mentally as well.”

These initiatives reflect Airtel Nigeria’s continued efforts to redefine workplace culture and set new standards for employee engagement in the telecommunications industry.
