Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin, who just renewed his contract, has named Chidozie Awaziem as one of the top priorities to sign this summer.
The 48-year-old coach, who presented a comprehensive report to the management, rejected former Chelsea striker Diego Costa but wants Nigeria defender Awaziem on his team. He also wants Senegalese strikers Mbaiye Niang and Mame Diouf.
Awaziem did well for Boavista in Portuguese last season and has been linked with a loan switch to the Turkish champions who will also have the option to sign him permanently after the loan deal.
