After a calm week in the Big Brother Naija house, the eviction show on Sunday night delivered a major twist as three housemates — Big Soso, Ivatar, and Doris — were evicted in quick succession.
Big Soso was the first to exit, leaving the stage with her trademark humour. She joked about gaining weight from food in the house and reflected on her nurturing role, noting that growing up with six brothers made caring for others second nature.
Ivatar followed as the second eviction of the night. Having previously finished at the bottom of the polls twice, her departure came as little surprise to viewers.
The biggest shock of the evening came with Doris’s eviction. Admitting she did not expect to leave so soon, she expressed surprise that some housemates she considered “less talented or entertaining” remained in the competition. However, she declined to name who she had in mind.
Amid the drama, Kaybobo emerged as the Most Influential Housemate of Week 6, securing an important win inside the house.
With three housemates gone, the competition has intensified for the remaining 19 contestants. Viewers will once again decide their fate in the coming weeks.
The live nomination show airs on Monday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., followed by the Head of House challenge between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on the Big Brother channel (GOtv 49, DStv 198).
