BetKing Ends 2025 CSR Drive with Health, Maternal Aid in Four States

Sports betting company BetKing has concluded its 2025 corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative with the delivery of healthcare, nutrition, and maternal support services across underserved communities in Lagos, Osun, Abia, and Bayelsa states.

According to a statement from the company, the initiative—tagged ‘Month of Good’—ran from May 17 to June 17, and featured mobile clinics providing free medical consultations, diagnostic screenings, and treatment in hard-to-reach areas.

Chief Executive Officer of BetKing, Gossy Ukanwoke, emphasised that the company’s CSR activities were driven by a desire to create tangible social impact beyond commercial operations.

“At BetKing, our impact goes beyond the business. We are committed to serving our communities and empowering those who need it most,” Ukanwoke said. “The ‘Month of Good’ reflects our values—providing real help, creating access, and improving lives.”

A major focus of the outreach was maternal health. Over 500 pregnant women received prenatal care, nutrition packages, hygiene kits, and essential medication at Iga Idungaran Primary Health Centre in Lagos and similar health facilities in other participating states.

The outreach also included malaria testing, vision screenings, blood pressure monitoring, and health education. BetKing noted that its staff collaborated with healthcare workers and local agents to administer services and distribute free medications.

To complement the medical support, BetKing also conducted large-scale food and clothing drives. Thousands of families received food packs, while vulnerable individuals were provided with pre-owned clothing items.
